The Importance of ‘RECOGNITION’ – Rewarding Your Employees

A happy employee is a motivated employee…..that’s not a news flash, right?  But the economic landscape of the past couple of years has made it harder for organizations to reward their employees with raises, bonuses or other costly perks.  But that doesn’t mean that corporate recognition programs need to be non-existent.  People like to be recognized for their hard work and contributions.  Trophies, plaques and medals aren’t simply for youth sports programs!  Corporate awards are a great way to cost-effectively say ‘thank you’ to your employees.  Consider glass trophies or wooden plaques, engraved to be personalized.  In 2011…….remember to recognize!
